I was asked to help teach a 16 year old how to use his detector in their yard. After some pointers and going around with him for awhile and he pulled a old bell and silver quarter so I left him to it and broke out my detector. In the middle of the yard I got a hit and old popped a silver dime. I rechecked the hole and a bit deeper I was getting burnt wood pieces and melted plastic. When the plastic beeped I looked close and seen coins in it. I kept on digging and in the end got 88 coins and a medallion. The only silver was two quarters and a dime but I'm glad they were there. Also two clad nickels,a clad dime and clad quarter. The rest was penny's. To bad it wasn't another old spill but I thought it was worth posting. They were crazy hard to get out of the melted clumps. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]
