got out and did some swingin and made some good finds. Tried a couple of spots in the hood (early morning) and then out in the country. Met some nice folks, had a good time. Thought I had an error coin at first with one of the indians because it appeared to have no date, but its there real faded. managed 4 indians (1865, 1870 ;D , 1893, 1903) bunch of wheats, some early ones 1909, 10, 11, 12....) 3 silver dimes and 2 buffs. The 1893 indian came from my yard a couple of days ago out by my peach tree, must of walked over it quite a few times, its in real nice shape, has the diamonds on the ribbon still. Anyway, thanks for looking you guys, hope everyone is finding some time to get out, HH, Griff

You found all this is one day? Some of it in your own yard!? Good Lord, man, in what part of Michigan do you reside? I wish I had had an F75 when I lived in the U.P., but, alas, I was in high school and college.......only hunting one thing back then ;D.

Great finds, BTW.

thanks...these finds are from about 2 hours Monday evening and 6 hours Tuesday morning/afternoon with my brother Brentallica. With the exception of the one IH (1893) I found Saturday in my yard. I live in southern Michigan (Jackson Co.) and we primarily hunt old yards. The 1865 and 1870 IH were in the same hole and I dinged the one pretty bad. Michigan soil is pretty kind to those Indians ;D

Your cast iron guy is pretty cool. We found a couple like that. I assume he has a steering wheel in his hands. Probably came from a cast iron truck. I'll bet that someone who collects cast iron cars and trucks would be interested in it. I suppose that they seldom survive together, as witnessed by our finds! One of mine is actually a wagon driver. I think he may have been chrome plated?

U and i are fairly close by. Im in NW OH. And ive done those 5a on a Sun. hood hunts in Detroit. Out of the Nbrhood by 10a. But that is where those great old houses and blvd's are. Its been afew years since I've done one of those but those areas are loaded with old unhunted yards and parks.
