Fly into Ft Lauderdale or Miami and drive north for a couple of hours or Fly into Orlando ( Disney world) and drive East then south for about 1.5 hours......

It all depends of course if you drive like Miss Daisy... i.e. Old Man....

Thanks guys. Yea thats the way google was guiding me. Stop over in LA then to Orlando. Hire a car and head east. Dont know how ill go. Might start out driving like an oldie lol. Everthing is opposite what im use too.
Pretty sure ive got most of you lot on my facebook (martin walters) so it would be great to meet you all face to face and share stories. Im thinking about staying for 2 weeks..see if i can get on a treasure dive while im over and maybe get down to the Mel fisher museum.

You would certainly get the award (if there were one) for coming the longest distance beating Agflit by just a few miles. Jeesh, I thought he was nuts driving 900 miles to come to this gathering of the nuttiest. Sounds like you would fit in nicely.

Added: Mel Fisher museum is only 5-10 minutes north of the cookout (depending if you hit the 3 traffic lights right)

I cannot express how much better it is to fly into Melbourne instead of Orlando. It costs more, but boy oh boy does it make your day easier.
