The weather was cold & windy, just how I like it

I was careful to take regular breaks with my only good arm to stop myself becoming armless

Cru'dad got a wish list coin (he wanted a better conditioned one for quite some time):
Brass Sesterius
Severus Alexander
Rome AD225

The Henry III hammered takes us to 33 this year. 6 off our last years total, & we may make our 50 target.

This field has taken us 3-4 days of very little to get these & it was worth the patience. However we will risk all tomorrow & try new land (again!).

Great finds Cru and Cru'dad! The silver thimble is a great find, when you get it fixed up it will be real nice. Don't find many of those myself, a couple but in bad shape! I see you found the past few days more of my buttons!

As an American living in Holland and searching in the UK some of the time I can agree with you. We just find regularly stuff from the 17th century and earlier. Findings from the earlier eons are not so interesting anymore.... I have never searched in the USA, so can't really compare the two places though....
