I would be posting pictures of new finds but my hunting grounds are under a couple feet of snow so I figured I'd post some older ones.

The Goshen point is the best point I have ever found, it measures 2 1/4" and is made from heavily patinated petrified wood.

The Besant point is made of clear to cream colored chert with white patina. It is about 1 7/8" if I remember right.

The gray point is something related to or about the same age as Allen points. It is made from gray porcellanite and measures 1 7/8" long. DSC00968.JPG DSC00966.JPG DSC01001.JPG DSC01002.JPG CIMG7586.JPG CIMG7587.JPG 0703081459.jpeg 0703081459a.jpeg

If you're taking photos with a smart phone, take them in landscape mode. Portrait mode often results in photos appearing sideways. I know that happens with iPhones.
Thanks for the advice. I always edit them so they are right side up just like I took them....my phone kind of has a mind of its own.

Wish that I had started taking them way back in the day. I'd like to see some of yours when you have time.
I'll post some more when I get a chance.... I've got quite a few nice ones.

Man o man, that Goshen is about as nice as they come. How thick is it? I bet thin and flat.
Thanks josh! It's about 3/16" to 1/4" thick at its thickest point. Extremely well made and fairly thin for a Goshen.

Not trying to steal your thread, but I just to show you my Montana tray from my states collection. A mix of Points, Tools, minerals, and fossils.

Those are really nice! I've yet to find a Goshen, but I know it could happen! We got a foot of snow yesterday (besides what we already have) and they are saying another 10-13 inches tonight. If I didn't have 4 wheel drive, I would not have been able to get out of my driveway to go to work. ugg.
