I would be posting pictures of new finds but my hunting grounds are under a couple feet of snow so I figured I'd post some older ones.

The Goshen point is the best point I have ever found, it measures 2 1/4" and is made from heavily patinated petrified wood.

The Besant point is made of clear to cream colored chert with white patina. It is about 1 7/8" if I remember right.

The gray point is something related to or about the same age as Allen points. It is made from gray porcellanite and measures 1 7/8" long. DSC00968.JPG DSC00966.JPG DSC01001.JPG DSC01002.JPG CIMG7586.JPG CIMG7587.JPG 0703081459.jpeg 0703081459a.jpeg

Sorry about the snow. Those are fantastic points!
My orchid tree is going off with our early spring. I don't know why my pics load up sideways!!

If you're taking photos with a smart phone, take them in landscape mode. Portrait mode often results in photos appearing sideways. I know that happens with iPhones.

Beautiful points and nice insitus!

I have been taking insitus pics since the early 1970's and treasure those photo-memories today.

Wish that I had started taking them way back in the day. I'd like to see some of yours when you have time.

Thanks Newnan! Lots of snow means lots of work for us so it's kind of a win-lose situation. It'll just be a longer wait to get back out there.

Those are all really nice ,you have a hell of a good spot
Thanks arrow! Lots of walking to be had and lots of rattlers but it's worth it. I got chased by a rattler out there once.....unfortunately I didn't feel like dying that day so it was either me or the snake.... you can probably guess who won.
