Riles: I've noticed that you are pulling the 1976-P&D bicentennial quarters. We are talking clad, correct? Are they becoming a semi-keeper regardless of condition? I just recently sorted out ten years of saving the STATE quarters, of which there were several bicent included, which were recycled into the system. However i still have a half-gallon jug of those bicent quarters that my deceased brother had saved ( none of which are silver).

Correct, the 1976ers are clad. My reason is more sentimental (and also because they are so easy to spot). When I was four one of the first coins I found was a bicentennial quarter on the playground. My grandfather told me it was special, and ever since, I like to collect them. A while back I checked what circulated rolls were going for on eBay, and I was seeing around $15. I guess there are some people out there who also like to collect them.

5/17:
1946 cent
1953 D cent
1934 Series A $10

The $10 is in pretty great shape. I just love kids who come in looking to buy candy. Great source!

I accumulated 2 rolls of bicentennial quarters and I flipped them on eBay for like $20 a roll, shipped.

How much profit is that after paying shipping, ebay fees, and packaging materials? I actually have a roll or two worth of bicentennial quarters that I pulled out while searching quarters, but I'm always on the fence about keeping stuff like that because I'm not sure it's really worth the time when you factor in all the costs associated with ebay.

I think I ended up clearing about $10 after shipping and fees (both auctions were won by the same person, so I lucked out there).

1933 French coin that I have misplaced. Really is bugging me that I somehow lost it promptly after finding it ten minutes before closing.

Looks like yer finding some cool stuff. If you ever find something ridiculous (in a good way) - something along the lines of a '69S doubled die cent or the like, I would suggest you post that you didn't find it in the CVS register. You never know who might see your post & maybe if the company gets word, they could take it from you. (I worked for CVS for 5 years & well, I won't say anymore.) Same goes to anyone else who pulls finds from a register at work. Just sayin.

Good point. I have full support at the store level, but corporate is entirely different.

6/14:
1953 D cent
1957 P cent
1988 Series A $10

The front of the $10 was printed off-center. There's no white space at the top, while the back is centered. Worth anything?

I walked into work today and my boss handed me the quarter. He found it in last night's deposit.
