A Few Cellarhole Relics/Whatzits

My brother and i got out for a few hours at a cellarhole site. The sweatbees,deerflies and briars were pretty vicious but there were enough signals to keep us interested.Bill dug the lense,i guess from a pair of binoculars? Thought the lysol bottle was a neat find. Anybody know what would have been in it? HH! Jerry

Found one like that in Denver. Odds are, Lysol. Off chance, formaldehyde. Really off chance, nitro glycerine.

Hey BB,good to hear from ya,doin any swingin these days?.i've been caught up in weddings,graduations,family gatherings,gardening etc.etc. and really cherish the time i can squeeze in these days to go out and visit an old cellarhole or two.got a few sites lined up but they're like a jungle right now,maybe in the fall.Camped at a bluegrass festival in southern Ohio last month called the Appalachian Uprising,ever hear of it? Railroad Earth and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band were a couple of the big names there..great bluegrass weekend.HH! Jerry

Not much these days. I hope to do a bit this winter, though. Never heard of that, but I Love bluegrass. Take care, and stay in touch.
