Now that spring is almost here, we have winter and about 4”-6” of snow. I got out for about 2 hours even though it was around 2C/35F with winds and ice rain. I realized I had forgotten my camera on the other side of Germany before going out, bummer, I used my daughter’s camera for the find pictures. Made a few nice finds. Three musket balls.
Coins from 1914 and a 1924, obverse.
Reverse of the 1914 and 1924.
A large ornate keyhole.
A large French 10 Centime coin from 1907, obverse.
Reverse of the 1907, date at the bottom.
A nice little 10 gram weight and a finger ring with some decoration.
A few minutes into the hunt I pulled this silver 1807, obverse.
Reverse of the silver 1807. If the weather holds up, a friend, 88Irocarmy is going to come over Monday for a hunt but it is suppose to freeze so I will probably test the field in the morning and give him a call if it isn’t frozen solid. HH, Mike
