Has anyone ever calculated how many of these it would take to make a pound of aluminum and figure out what the actual value per pull tab is?

Welcome to TNET and just think by digging that pull tab you are one signal closer to your first gold . If it makes you feel better I only had to dig about 452,121 pull tabs to find my first gold ring . Ok mabey it wasn't quite that many but it sure felt like it . Good luck and keep digging

I still think the idiot that invented those wretched things should get a high five...........in the face...........with a chair!

...and catch in mid-swing, a few of the much more idiotic idiots who pull the pulltab off modern cans and toss it.

Try soaking the token in water for a while and then brush it lightly while running water. Is it aluminum? What part of LA are you in? I'm in Scott, but hunt with a buddy from BR.
