I was up early today looking for a site which would have been a look out for the French in the early 1700s. I found a few French sized musket balls but also found some later lead so I'm not sure if I found the site. This is another salt water shore site related to the Cannonball Beach site but about 5 miles away from that. I need to wait until fall to get into the fields and woods at this site.

Find of the day was the quartz crystal tip...the second one I've found on this stretch of beach.

It happens when your scouting for new spots but you still got some nice finds, :icon_thumright: .

That piece of quartz is really cool! :headbang:

The lead finds always give some hope! It'll be nice when everything starts getting cut and the vegetation starts dying off.

Yeah, I've started paying much more attention to the rocks on this beach...some interesting stuff here.

Better than a pile of rusty square nails. I left my MD home and hit a flea market. I found some cool buttons but its not like digging them

Maybe not so much to show "this time", but I have little doubt you will zero in on the honey hole, and the goods. Good luck

Heh, looks like a good hunt to me. Research and scouting makes all the difference between success and failure in relic hunting. That crystal tip is way cool!
