What is this black rock with something like a crystal inside of it. The rock looks like a dries asphalt... but if you heat it i wouldnt melt like a asphalt .

It appears to be a bad day at Black Rock.
What is this, mating season for black rocks? They are comming out of the woodwork like ticks off a rampant detectorist. Is there black rock repellant, or maybe Black Flag black rock spray?
Maybe it wil be a black diamond.
