A Nice Atlas Mason's Patent Pint.

'Walked across town to pick up this little pint from the flea market, it's a nice specimen and the price was right. It's green and it's full of bubbles and there's hardly a scratch on it.

This one isn't embossed "-ATLAS-" but instead just "ATLAS" without the hyphen line things on either side - does anyone know whether or not this is significant with regards to dating, etc.? Anyway, I've seen these jars online before but usually in aqua and not nearly as bubbly, so I think I made a good buy, or at least a safe buy. I really like this tiny jar though, it's my first shoulder-sealing pint.

This one does not have a ground lip. But it is an early machine-made jar for sure, I think it may have even been made on a semi-automatic machine, sometime between 1902-1910? I'm trying to paint a picture using information from various sources, so it's tough.

I'm thinking that it probably came before the E-Z Seal and Strong Shoulder, and that it potentially came before the ones with the hyphen lines, embossed "-ATLAS-".
