I like finding beaches that are extremely long stretches with little or no public access. These are usually lined with condos, high dollar homes, hotels and private beach clubs. Other then at each end, they rarely get worked because of the access problem. I generally work them at night to avoid most of the hassles with "rent-a-cops" and property owners who seem to think their ownership extends onto the beach (in Florida, it doesn't). These goodies came from a 4/5 mile strip last night (a sunset till dawn walk). The Emerald cross is being appraised tomorrow. This was my first trip on this beach and I was just spotting (a little recon). As the saying goes "I'll be back"....lol and soon. The total finds were;
A double handfull of clad (about 1/2 pictured)
1- 14k White Gold mans ring
1- 14k Gold wedding ring with a small diamond
1- 14k Gold mans ring with 3 diamond chips
1- Sterling toe ring
2- Sterling chains
1- Sterling cross with 5 emeralds
Assorted bottle caps, pop tabs, nails and other beach junk (yep, carried it out to).

Way to hunt DP47..........
Nice job.........
Full moon hunts are the best..........no need for any additional lights.

Great finds.....are they all the same color and clarity?

I looped them when I got home this morning. They look pretty close in color and quality.

Deepsix,

Excellent finds! I would give my left-nut to find stuff like that! Night detecting sounds cool!

Nice nights work there DeepSix. Night hunting is a whole new ball game and lacks the eye candy.
