Merry Christmas everyone! Snuck out today for a quick walk around, not too much but last hole before dark I dug this U.S. pin. Had a hard time finding exact match. The periods on this pin are circular and most seemed to be squares. 1 long pin on the back, not 2 posts. I did find an exact one that was listed on ebay as a WWI US Army Officers lapel pin. But that was the only exact match I could locate. Hoping a military insignia person comes across this post and can tell me the era of this pin. It was found 20 feet from the front door of a c.1911 house. My brother and I thought maybe it fell off during a big family hug after returning from the war. Just not sure which war. Thanks for looking and again Merry Christmas and hope all have a great start to 2015!!

Nice find no matter if it's WWI or WWI. I like that a lot.
