I had a 3 hour hunt yesterday afternoon and mostly found old artifacts. A model T hubcap, an obsolete 22 hornet bullet, a play dime, a nice no 1 crotal bell, a small sterling ring, a reins guide, a really unique whatever that looks like a representation of Eve taking a bite out of the apple and the serpent wrapped around her arm, and 3 Wheat pennies, 2 1941's and 1 really toasted 1911. I added more pictures of the buckle thing so you can see the back and a quarter for size reference. Any help on what this thing was used for would be great. Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: Looks like pennies come out of your soil in pretty good condition. A crotal bell is on my bucket list.....

The pennies come out not so great. The cleaning makes them more presentable. Andres pencils and a brass brush for non key dates.

Some neat finds John. I saw you up by the park on my way thru town. I see you on your porch pretty often too.
Dont dig it all, save some for me !!!!

I got permission at that old insulbrick house a couple of weeks ago and I can say for sure it was never detected before. I have hit it about six times and it is now pretty well picked clean. 7 silver coins, 4 Indian heads, a pile of older wheat pennies, 2 silver rings, and yesterday a few artifacts.

Nice bunch of finds. Congrats. I found an old Oldsmobile hubcap that’s the same size and shape and researched it to 1924.

Your buckle looks like half of a sash buckle. I'd get back to that place and see if you can find the other half. Very nice relics.
