Hi All.....I just thought I would show you the last three Roman Silver Denarius I have found on the Roman field I have been searching the last three weeks, these are the last I might find for a while as the crop is relay starting to grow now and we don't want to upset the farmer. It seems strange that the last three coins would all belong to the same family who would have thought that possible. Antoninus Pius AD138-161 his wife Diva Faustina (died AD141) and there daughter Faustina11 or JR wife of Marcus Aurelius. TK

They might have been put together and saved by an ancient coin collector,
that is, a coin collector who was around at the time.

Anyway, a great historical find.

Hi TK. What a fantastic find! You, Crusader, Crusader Dad, keep me returning to England even with the extremely depressed dollar. I surely would like just a small amount of your luck in November when I hunt in Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. Keep posting those pics they keep my interest at a high peak!
