I wrapped it, lovingly, with an Ace bandage and made sure when I knelt, it was on the other one. ;)
Anyway, it seems to have buried the hatchet. Did ok.

The knee did, the finds didn't, not much. Interesting though and very nice weather!

I wouldn't usually put up a pull tab. But, when
one fools me into thinking it's a coin and causes
me to dig it up from 9 inches down! :BangHead:
It deserves some recognition.

Evidently this was a vintage tin cup. It has Little Miss Muffet stamped
on one side and Little Tommy Tucker on the other side. :dontknow:

Fishy seems pleased, jammin' with my very first
whole harmonica that I've found. ;)

2016 (152).jpg

Blingie's smelling his new "rose".

And I had a very strange "OTWBTTC" experience.

I'd left the field and stopped for a root beer. When I came out
of the store, I was manipulating my change to my pocket when
I spotted this one in it:

'56 wheatie! In better shape than any I would've dug. LOL

Thanks for peeking!

Nice walk Bud. Was the harmonic near the road? I can see mom or dad, or maybe the little Mrs' throwing it out the window. Lol. Glad you got out. Hope your knee gets better soon.

I know, Sub. I noticed a couple online. Pretty basic/simple thing. But, maybe.....how much do you think "American Restoration" would charge to have it restored? ;) LOL

Thanks!

You might add " I wish people would read what I wrote rather than what they think they read " to your signature Gary. My speed reading isn't so good. I could have sworn I saw you had stopped for a beer!:laughing7:

Glad your knee is doing better Whadi. I'm recovering from surgery with mine, & am just starting to get out for this year. Like that Wheat pocket find.

Spoken, written or typed, it's still what I said. ;)

About the beer? Nope, could never get beer past my nose. :)

Thanks!

I kinda like the cup myself. I've seen a couple examples online but I haven't pinned down how old yet.
Maybe, next winter I'll try to restore it myself. ;)

The harmonica is pure plastic. Eyeball find. :)

Yep, I thought that harmonica looked a little funny.
I tried looking up Tiny Tim on line. I know he was a dwarf of 30 inches of height. All I kept getting was some funny looking guy with a Ukulele.??

Sorry to hear about your knee. I have had two surgeries in 2 years on my left knee for what I call "metal detecting knee". Both times I had torn meniscus from squatting to dig. Now I'm always sure to drop down on one knee and not sit on my heels. They should have warnings about this stuff in the metal detector owners manuals.
