I'm not sure of the age of the road but it has never been improved and runs through the woods about three miles. It became part of a park created when they built a dam here in 1950's. It's been gated off and only gets use from nature walkers and the like, no vehicles. It passes a few cellar holes but they are loaded with iron near the holes. The old road is very clean and nice to hunt. I spent my first hour today and searched from center to right about 1/8 of the way. I've got big hopes for this site.

No date readable on the SLQ
The gold button has a "Scovills" backmark
Can't read the date on the wheatie.

Thanks for looking.

That's a spot worthy of some extra attention. I'd like a shot at the cellar holes :)

nice finds
I was told when I first started to detect "If you don't dig trash, you don't dig treasure."
Good luck.
