Ace 250 Owners...I need your Advice

Iam interested in purchasing the larger upgrade 9x12 coil. Can anyone tell me that uses one of these larger coils if its worth the upgrade. I look a lot of cornfields for revoultionary artifacts and figure that this coil would cover a bit more ground and maybe give me a little more depth and a avantage over my brothers 6.5 x 9 coil that has been kicking my butt in the artifacts catagory recently. Will I see a noticeable difference in the upgrade? I see ebay has them for $84.95 plus free ship. Is that the cheapest price out there?

I have all three coils for my 250. My opinion is that the 9+12 coil will give you another inch or two. I have been hunting a central VT. farm hay field and finding buttons. One came from 6" plus. Last fall I pulled a Classic Head Large Cent from no less than 8".
I dont think that you will be disapointed in it.
