Okay, I know this has been beaten... I mean talked about already, but...
I bought an F2 to play with and I am very unhappy!!!
I have to turn down the sensitivity to 2 bars and even then...
- It gives tons of ghost signals
- I have to swing a target 10-20 times to get a half way decent reading
- When it says it is a solid dime, it is a 50/50 chance that it is a dime else it is a penny
- The pin pointing is a general area at best
The 2 things I can count on are...
- If it shows a quarter and STAYS a quarter or shows a quarter then jumps off the scale to the "+", it is a quarter.
- It is accurate 100% if the coin is on top of the ground in plain view
It is better then nothing at all, but I am finding myself ONLY quarter hunting, or else I would be digging up the entire area for hours!!!
Also, I am hunting normal dirt ground and I have notched out eveything except dimes and quarters (sometimes I leave Zinc too) because if I didn't I'd have a headache.
