Beryl kicked up some nice treasures, congrats on the golden day!!!! :sunny:

Nice gold. I hate appraisals..... even looking some items on the internet kills me. You see something especially silver that new is 2 or $300 bucks you know is woth $10 melt. Has to be a better way of selling them..... or not looking them up haha. Again, great hunt.

Man you are smoking me coastie, I went out at low tide right after the storm (that night) and all i managed to get was some older then normal clad and a pair of perscription sunglasses. I think i need to expand my search area, my clad count keeps going down and I havent found a ring in a few weeks.

if you found lead hull sheathing * know that the spanish treasure vessels --in the days of old used lead as hull covering before copper came into use --copper means later 1700's / 1800 / 1900 ect-- lead means early 1700 / 1600 /
1500 era vessels for the most part.

That rings a bad boy,awesome hunt.:leprechaun-hat:

Looks just like my band. Mine is 1ct but they had it in 1/2 tw as well. 2900 or so iirc retail but appraised at 4600 or so.

My wife's cost about 4600 but appraised at just over 8500.

I don't really get the appraisal value. I did not pay anything near the appraisal value for any of it and I didn't buy from a local jeweler or flea market. Big national store, not in the mall. Question is though isn't it only worth the value of the metal and the diamonds for the most part? Exception to that I guess being insurance purposes or antique stuff that has more value because of its age or uniqueness?

Thx for the info Ivan!
