Hey, folks, I decided to tumble a coppa that I had found in May. Actually, before I tumbled the coppa, I thought it was a Connecticut, but I was soon to be a wrong baboon. :D

To get to my coppa...I tumbled it for 25 minutes and soon found out that I had found a 1694 William and Mary Halfpenny! ;D :D As you can see in the pic, the bust is totally identifiable! :D This coin is my oldest yet and just proves that analog detectors can still compete! :D

Here is a link to compare my coin with:

Keep the passion high!

Yo, Kirk, how's it going, my friend!!!!

What have you found here? I can't make out your coin, but you're much better than I am at identifying old Coppas. :icon_king:

Congrats on your oldest Coppa ever!! You need to have a shirt made up that says, "Analog Forever!!" :tongue3:
Hope you can get out this weekend at make some great finds!!

Good luck, my friend from PA!

Man that is a old coin.

I've hunted with guys who use 20 yr old units and swear by them. And they would find more than the guys with new top end units.

Thanks to my strong belief in tumbling slug-like coppas, you were able to identify it as your oldest yet. :coffee2: You are a great hunter, zoyster oyster boy. OOOOF :D

Let's keep up the search for the "good stuff."

You are truly THE baddest colonial coppa detectorist!
And frankly I had no idea we even HAD coins in US soil that old.
COOL.
