If you really want to play the drums better you need to broaden your music base. I would suggest some great drummers to listen to, such as John Bonham of Led Zeppelin (Best all time rock drummer), Mitch Mitchell from the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Phil Collins and my all time favorite Ginger baker of Cream. Noel and Ginger incorporate a fusion of jazz, blues and rock. You will learn some great beats, and off beats with these drummers.
