Spent the day visiting an old site which had just been harvested...beans and corn gone! Stuck to the bean field to avoid the corn stalks and did OK. Fist target was the French Colonial Marines button in better that decent condition.

Other finds are another Victorian butterfly brooch, a small jeweled brooch, a Geo II Irish Half Penny, Victorian 1861 NS Penny, a wheatie and a 1902 Farthing...a first for me of this age. Lots of fun!

Nice finds and just in time for the end of the season! The button is a great find. The Nova Scotia is cool too

Gotta love those old favourite sites, they always seem to spit out just enough to keep you coming back
All in all, you had a fairly decent day

Regardless of the site there always seems to be a few early ones in the mix which is not a bad thing at all.
