A lady was buying a ton of costume jewelry and then I see her looking at a necklace with a peace dollar in it marked at $130. I kept thinking wow that is way too much until I hear an employee showing it to her that it was a 1928. Now I am dying to see it. I keep thinking it could be worth $300 in any condition if it is a 1928 no mint mark. I hang around and around but she put it up at the register so now I will never know if it was a 1928 P.

I got home and prices are all over the place. Was I too eager? What would a damaged 1928 peace be worth? HH

It's not what it is worth but if you want it for your collection. Its worth only if you want to sell it.
