Journey along the Royal Trail

With
Lost Horse

Hello Trackers,

Ready for a new Journey?

I know its been a while, but being out in the field
with my Flying Donkey, jumping from place to place,
Takes me away from my home base.

Mean while,
In my travels, I came across another site that I couldn’t pass up.

Going back to Last Spring and Fall, I have been involved in a few projects.
on one of my journeys, I came across this new area of interest.
And I believe, you will love the way, it turns out.

I love this journey and story, because Its a great learning tool,
and gives me, a chance to show with photos how Iconic Markers
that show intelligent design, with my interpretation / perception.

And show the Importance’s of Vista Points,
and the Meaning of Markers that are shown, Resting.
If you have not grasp this concept yet, of how important this is,
You are surly missing out on a big part of finding your goal.

For seeing is believing, Right!

So come along and join me, let me take you along the Royal Trail,
And share with you, my thoughts and prospective of this journey.

My objective is to entertain you, by sharing photos of what I call, Areas of Interests.

I have put together photos that I believe are good examples,
to show you some of the Iconic Markers while exploring this Mining Site.
And how these Iconic
Markers are used to Mark this Mine.

But remember this - you will always be at the mercy of the Spanish Artist.
Pay attention, to the engineering and design – each one is unique.
And how the Markers are incorporated to create messages.

Confirmation
Is very important if you are trying to establish creditably for your site
there are many ways of doing this
• Connecting Markers to other markers.
• The quantity of well known Treasure Markers all in one place.
• And the lay out that seems to be of intelligent design

Enclosing,
I want you to know, I am no expert in this field.
I have my own techniques of finding, photographing and documenting,
My travels along the King’s Trail, and happy to share and entertain you with them.

So come along with me on this journey, Titled “A place to Rest” , along the Royal Trail.

I pray that all your journeys will be safe ones.

Journey along the Royal Trail

A Place To Rest
From

“
The Lost Horse Book of Secrets”

Hello Trackers,

Days before my journey began,
It was a normal week, I spent time loading up my small RV (now dubbed - The Fly Mule)
and just getting ready for a two week trip out into the wild.
Everything was ready to go.

The day came, and I headed out very early, hours before the sun came out.
Heading out on the lonely highway for hours, only to see a lone coyote run across the road.

After a while, The sun started to come up,
and I could see the beautiful colors of the desert sunrise.

I decided to look for a place to stop and rest a bit, and get some coffee and a bite to eat,
before continuing down, what would be this long and lonely desert stretch of highway.

Driving for awhile, It didn’t look like this was going to happen,
there was nothing for miles ahead of me.

Another hour or so went by, and in the distance, I could see what looked like a ghost town
of a lone gas station and store.
as I got closer, I could see another old car parked out front.
Looks like there mite be a chance that there would be some life over there.

As I pulled in, the place looked like it was built in the 1920s – 30s
and only kept together with old bleached out wood planks,
and with a small set of stairs, going up to a covered porch,
that gave protection from the days hot sun,
and on the porch, it had, old chairs, that looked out into the desert horizon,
before you entered into the store.

As I opened the front door, the small bell hanging on the door rang out.
As I looked around, there was no one behind the counter,
but I could smell fresh coffee being brewed.
Which gave me comfort, that I was not in a twilight zone move.

As I headed towards the coffee machine to fill my thermos bottle,
A thin old man came walking in from the back room, and asked, how can I help you?

I looked him over for a second, and said, I was in need of some coffee and gas,
and also possibly something to eat.

He said no problem, he could oblige me, and then ask, were are you heading?
And I told him, I was heading, to this one canyon up in the mountains, to do some research.

His eyes got big, and I could see he was concerned.
and said no one has been up there for years.

Then he asked me, What kind of research are you doing?
I am doing research on the, history of Spanish Occupation in that area.

Oh, he said,
I have heard stories of them being up there, I think they were mining.
In the past, prospectors have been up there,
but not much gold has been reported found up there.

That’s ok I said, I am not looking for gold.
I could see in his face, that he thought I was lying.
And so I just smiled, and paid for my food, and went out side on the porch,
and sat on one of the old chairs to eat my snack and drink some coffee,
while looking out into the desert horizon.

A Place To Rest
From

“
The Lost Horse Book of Secrets”

Hello Trackers,

While sitting there, for a few minutes, I watched the sun in the low horizon.
I could hear the sound of a loud muffler, of an old Chevy truck,
that had faded paint and rusted bumpers as it drove up.

When this old man stepped out, he looked like one of the guys from ZZ Top.
He looked like he could have been the brother of the store owner.

As he came towards me, and walked up the small steps, he looked at me,
nodded his head, as to say good morning to me.
As he walked into the store, I could hear the small bell, ring out again.

I sat there for a few more minutes, enjoying the morning view, contemplating my trip,
and where I mite want to start my search.

So, I decided, I better get going, I had a ways to go yet.

Just then I could hear the small door bell ring out again, as the old man with the beard
was coming out of the store.

And from behind me, he said,
So, my brother said your researching the Spanish in the area?
As he pulled up one of the old wood chairs and sat down.

Being reluctant, and looking him over for a second, I slowly said, yes,
I have been following their trails through the desert and it looks like its taking me up to,
( I named the mountain and canyon) I was heading to.

Yea, its a know fact that they were up there at one time all right, he said.

But... not to many people know that there was a small band,
or group that built a small one room building out of adobe, not far from here,
near the mouth of (he names the canyon).

My grandfather used to talk about them, and said the rumor was that there was about
six Padres that lived and mined in the area for a few years, before leaving.

I guess they were mining up there somewhere.
And my grandfather used to find some small amounts of placer in the canyon,
While trying to find their mine, but never did.

The adobe structure is no longer there, Its all gone, through the years of cattle grazing,
all the adobe had been crushed and melted from all the years of rain.

Well now he’s got my attention, and so I ask him some more questions,
to see how real this story mite be.
He could see that I was interested, and then, he asked if I wanted to see
the beginning of the small canyon, and were the adobe structure once stood.

I told him, yes.

And I thought to my self, as crazy as it mite sound,
I mite be able to follow their trail into the canyon.

Then he boasted out, Well lets do it then,
I have nothing going on today.

So as I drank my last sip of coffee, He yells to his brother to watch my RV,
and that we would be back in a couple of hours.

And that we were going to look at the area of the old adobe structure.
We get up, and headed for his old pick up truck.

And as we get in, I could hear the hollow sound, when we closed the doors.
And then he pressed a starter button, that’s on the floor board next to the gas pedal.
To my surprise it starts right up, then he grinds it in to gear, and off we go.

It was about a thirty minute drive from the old gas station and store.
We got to a flat spot at the base of a mountain ridge.

We parked and got out, he pointed out the direction of the small canyon,
that his grandfather use to go in at.

As we looked around, he told me stories of his family, living in this area for generations,
and some of the local history.

I asked if it would be alright to park my RV here on this flat spot, while I research the area.
I told him I would be here only a few days, Just to look around and take notes and photos,
due to the fact that I had something else going on, further up the main highway.

So we headed back to the store, and he told me he would stop by in a day to check on me,
to make sure I was safe.

When we got back to the store, I gassed up, and said good by to the both of them.
And thanks for the information!
They looked at each other, and kind of shrugged their shoulders,
and turned around and went up to set down under the porch.

Hi Lost Horse,

It is good to see you back with new adventures,
more cool experiences, your stories to share...

I too, enjoy your tales, perspectives, and writing. 8-)

So, I hope you don't mind me taking your thread,
to the Jesse James, or Treasure Legends list...

Simply because, that is a big part of my studies
for now, and it will be easier for me to see the
posts, in your newly added adventure sequel:

Besides, I think it is directly relative, and possibly
more people will see it easily, and enjoy your work.

Best Wishes, and Good Thoughts To You, Also...

Thanks, and may all of your trails, be safe and merry... Crosse... :sunny: :fish:

A Place To Rest
From

Hello Trackers,

When I got there, I set up camp.
And, as it turns out, I stayed there for the whole two weeks.

As I started to hike in, I realized there was not must to see.
The furthered I hike in, the less I saw.

The First Day Hiking,
as I was coming back, hiking down out of the mountain.
The day was coming to an end, It was getting dark.
And I came across this small sloped hillside,
that had some small rocks sticking out of the grass.
And as I walked right by it, There was hardly any day light left,
I took photos anyway.

Hello Trackers,

The Second Day Hike,
I thought to myself, in the morning,
I will go over to the area where the small rocks were sticking out of the grass.
And take more photos, and then head up the mountain,
This time in a different direction.

003.jpg

Well, that day also came to an end, with no results.

As I got back to the RV, Well, this is it, I told myself.
Didn’t find anything, did get a lot of exercise.
I will pack up everything, and get ready to head out,
to my original destination in the morning.

As I rested for a while, and it is now dark out side.
I powered up the lap top, and started to look at all the photos that I took that day.

004.jpg

When I got to the photos of the small rocks,
that were sticking out of the ground.
I couldn’t believe it, There hiding in the grass, was the Prize!

Hello Trackers,

The mining area was a small venture between six padres.
A small area about 20x20 square feet.
And from the mine, you can look down, to the area where the abode structure was.

No wonder there was no tail markers anywhere.

The mining area was only about a quarter mile in.
Just at the opening of this small canyon.

This site was almost invisible.

Hello Dsty,

There are no markers leading to this mine site.
All Royal trails markers are on the desert floor.
and following them, I was heading to a major mining area.

Here is what I believe what was going on.

Like I said there was a major mining area I was heading to.
I believe that this area was used as a stopping / rest stop.
For the larger caravans bringing in supplies and taking out the products.

The finding of gold along the royal trail made this area a great spot to build a rest stop.
and at the same time mining, while they were just waiting around for the next group to come back.

The group going to or coming from the major mining area,
would stop here to rest and pick up what product they had that needed to go back .
And at the same time they would drop off supply.

A Place To Rest
From
“

Hello Trackers,

Once the area was realized, I packed up my bag of tools, and headed out with excitement.
That morning, I measured out a 20 x 20 square grid.
And started to remove all the grass covering the site.

001.jpg

Once the grass was removed, I took my wisp broom
and went to work softly removing the top soil.

I had worked the site for about a week.
I was able to collect data from the site.
I now can put it all together, to analyze what was going on here.

002.jpg

The question I had, was how do I present this to you,
and give you my perspective, so you can see the process.

This mine site is very small, a 20x20 square foot area.
No trial makers in or out, It could have easily been operated by three people.
No environmental damage to be seen.
This site was virtually invisible, thanks to mother nature.

I believe this site has a lot to offer, and is a good learning tool.
It shows again what Iconic Markers are being used.
I have found, Iconic Markers that show intelligent design.
Like we have seen before at other sites,
that are hundreds of miles from each other.

It shows that the Spanish “Did Mark Their Mines”.

And the importance's of the “Vista Point”.
(Any Marker Resting) also the, (End of the Trail Maker).

So... Lets start this journey, by taking a look at all the Markers
that were found at this yard / site.
And by putting them together, the big picture, and coming up with a conclusion.

Hi Trackers,

The First Marker we are going to start with,
Is the Marker you would see, if you were walking in.

The Eye Catcher,

As we are walking in, The First Marker, to be seen from a distance,
is the Eye Catcher. As its large surface reflects sunlight in the shadows.

001.jpg 001 a.jpg

This Square Shape Rock with the large flat surface reflecting the sun light during the day.
This is designed to draw your attention to this small grass-covered area.

Also you will notice that,
This eye catcher, is in the center of the yard / site.
It is what I call, the Center Piece.

002.jpg 003.jpg

This Eye Catcher Rock, is used in other ways, as you will see later.
But for now, this shinny surface, reflecting sun light, brings me to this area on the hillside.
Once you get closer in, your eyes are drawn to another larger marker in this yard / site.

Suggesting this is the, End of the Trail.

A Place To Rest
From
“
The Lost Horse Book of Secrets”

Hello Trackers,

End of the Trail Marker
The next Big Marker we see, as we continue to walk in,
is what looks like, a Man Laying Down, “Resting”.

Markers Laying Down, Resting.
Its a “Vista Point”
By taking your time to look around,
You could see what messages were left behind.

I made it a point to get over there,
Its a Marker, Suggesting, that our Search is Over.
This is the “End of the Trail”.

001.jpg 002.jpg

End of the Trail Marker.
As you can see, its a Man Laying Down” Resting “.
This kind of Markers, are also known to be Sitting Down.

The dirt covering his torso / chest area, acts as a blanket.
Suggesting somethings is covered up.

He is looking to his Right.
Its possible he is holding a round shield.
His knees are bent upward.

003.jpg

End of the Trail Marker.
Laying next to the Man, is his Dog,
Who is also on his Right side.

004.jpg

The dog is definitely loyal to the man, and will offer him protection.
The Dog suggest, that something is being protected.

The Message is Suggesting,
This is the End of Trail - Something is covered up - and being protected.

A Place To Rest
From

Hello Trackers,

Well I know it was interesting to see those first two makers,
That led us into the yard / site.

Now that we have established that we are at the end of the trail and our search is over.

Now, we need some Iconic Treasure Markers,
if we are going to prove this is a mining area.

While looking around, I could see that the Big Eye Catcher that brought us here,
Is setting in the middle of the yard / site, like if it was the Main Center Piece.

Keep your eyes on this area, it has a lot to tell us.

My First Iconic Treasure Marker
Viewing the Center Piece, from its Left Side,
I spotted my first Iconic Treasure Marker,
this showed me that I was on track.
The Conformation also brought on Confidence.

002.jpg

Open Mouth Being Covered By Stones.
What is being Suggested here is “Open Mouth, and Covered”.

What we are looking at, is a simulated “Something”
with its mouth open, being covered with stones.

The “Something” is not important at this time.
Its only simulating at best.

Its the “Suggesting”, that's what is important here.

001.jpg

Message
Suggesting that The mine opening is covered by rocks.
Also giving us, Conformation and Confidence,
that there is a mine in the area.
We just don't know what kind.

Remember,

  • A Closed mouth – is most likely a Trail Marker giving you direction.
  • Open Mouth – is a Treasure Trail Marker, giving you direction, your not there yet.
  • Mouth with something blocking the opening - is a Treasure Trail Marker. You are in the vicinity / neighborhood.

002 a.jpg

What is also interesting,
is that in the back ground, I could see the profile of an Indian?
Is this Indian leaning against something? “Resting?”

Hello Trackers,

Well, We found one Iconic Treasure Marker,
Are there more?

Turning what we have seen scattered all over the ground,
so far that mite be questionable, could be mother nature?

Well from my adventures in tracking, I believe there will be more.
Giving us conformation, this is Not Mother Nature.
In other words, this is Intelligent Design.

So as I start to look at the Center Piece, but this time on the Right Side,
I start to see and realize that another Iconic Treasure Marker was showing up.

Second Iconic Treasure Marker.

Turtle Laying Eggs
It was this Turtle Laying Egg Marker.
This is the one I saw in the photo, that brought forth the Rumors from the Past,
into my Realty.

001.jpg

Here it is, in its Glory and Splendor.
Check out the Shadowed Heart Symbol they used for the Eye.
The Heart is used as conformation that this is Not Mother Nature.

And take Note that the Turtle's Head is Pointed.

002.jpg 003.jpg

The Heart
The Heart symbol / Marker, “What Your Heart Desires”,
is used a lot, as a Conformation mark.
You will see this used a lot In letting you know,
that what you are looking at, is Not Mother Nature.

As we look closer,
we can see they used a Shadowed Heart Marker / Symbol for the eye.
Giving us conformation that this Turtle is Man Made.

Also take note,
that the Head is not Rounded off, like a turtle's head would be.
But Pointed, as a Pointer would be.

We will see Why, later.

004.jpg

As I look over this Turtle,
And check out the Craftsmanship.
I love the way it was put together.
This is got to be one of the best things about Tracking!

005.jpg

Here we are looking at its Back End.
The way the turtle is positioned, and the tail in the ground.

She's Possibly laying Eggs.

Look at the skill that went in to putting together the Legs and Tail.

006.jpg 007.jpg

Hello Trackers,

The Message is Suggesting,
Something is Buried and being Protected.

Its the same Message, that the End of the Trail Marker gave us!

Used as Treasure Makers / Symbols,
The Egg is very special, it offers life, and needs to be protected.
Turtles, Snakes, Bury their Eggs. Birds, Nest their Eggs.

As we change the angle and time of day,
we can sill see the suggestion, of another Turtle Laying Eggs or Mating.

Really am enjoying, your treasure adventure presentation...

I have, and am learning from you. Though I have seen some similar things,

Hello Lost Horse, even tho you did not have anything to lead you to this spot I believe that something unfound was perhaps a league away and perhaps indicated the distance and direction, as you indicated the presence of a filled in hole is very likely and a Ground Canceling Detector would find the Hole for you, the Old Hand Dug Holes had the same depth and width as original dug, the presence of the hole was proof enough for me, any type of detector that will indicate the presence of mineral will work, they may have the chose another location near the symbols that's laid out with rocks. FANSTACIC information you have found and share with everybody Thanks.
