Being a newbie who has never swung in my life, I would like to try to get to know my detector before I take it into the “field”. I have 2 problems.

1. I live in Minnesota, ground frozen, and there is 6” of white crap on the ground.

Then I thought about trying to do something inside that lead me to number 2.

2. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment; there is a lot of medal in the floor, wires, rebar, ect.
Any ideas or am I just screwed till Mar./April?

All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
take a recycle tub. Line the bottom with plastic if it has holes. Fill with dirt, potting soil or wood chips. Shuffle the deck and move the coins around each time and have fun in any room where you have room. siegfried schlagrule
