My son and I were beach combing in Unalaska, AK on Saturday and he found this. It is a very light purple and we thought maybe Amethyst?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

It definitely looks like amethyst, could be rose quartz, but to me looks more like amethyst. Cool find!

Thank you. We have been finding lots of quartz and this is our first Amethyst. We are so excited to keep hunting.

I am inclined to call it amethystine, appears like amethyst. A very subtle coloration but a nice one.
