Ancient coin ID help

Please help me ID these ancient coins! My grandfather passed away and left me his coin collection, which is mostly American besides these.

The reverse on the smaller coin is vey encrusted, but the reverse on the larger one, if the photo shows it, has what appears to be a figure holding a staff.

I’m not sure what you mean by heads besides the face, but I’ll attach some better photos. Do you mean the letters?

The reverse of the smaller one is hopelessly encrusted but the reverse of the larger one seems to be a standing figure facing left(?) and holding a spear/staff. I can make out “A**A” on it.

Bare-legged gods (male only) holding a spear in their left hand include Jupiter, Neptune and Virtus.

And 'big-headed' Roman coins were most frequently minted between the years 284-340 AD.
That would narrow the search to ten emperors.

The big-headed coin may also contain the description: laureate, draped and cuirassed.
Note also the legend extends over the head which will eliminate other candidate coins.
