And, "The Field Was Plowed" a continueing thrill-ogy ---
As many of you know, I've been steadily working a field situated along the Pergatory River and railroad tracks leading out of Trinidad, Colorado. Today has been a beautiful day; beginning with near freezing weather (33 degrees) early this morning. I arrived at the field at about 7:30 am; leaving at 12:30. The farmer has finished discing for the second time within the month. I thought I would find something worthwhile today as I was hunting in "True" All Metal Mode with an 18 inch shoe walking my SE! I guess Old Ron did a pretty good job before! I tried running back over an area I had already worked but only found 2 bullets and a golf ball! Lol! So, I meandered over to a far corner I had not worked. The pictures show my meager findings. The highlights, if any were actually the old pocket and butter knives. Don't let anyone tell you the Excelerator 18 incher can't find the small stuff. Just look at the little twenty two lead bullet and small copper washer. These are only two of numerous ones I was able to find.
Hey, believe me when I say, "I got it all!"
But, if the farmer is willing and you have the notion, come on down and see what you can find!
Enjoy my junk!
