YES!! :D went back to the great-great aunt's house again today, which STILL does not disappoint. I noticed that I keep finding more and more coins that I've skipped over by going over the same areas sideways, at different angles, etc. Found more clad, a few what-zits, 4 more wheaties...AND another silver Mercury dime! this is my second Merc in as many days. This time, it's a 1917. It was about 4 inches down, my ACE250, gave me a really stong solid dime signal, and there it was! Thanks for reading, and Happy Hunting to all!

i know what you mean about going over an area twice and finding things! I found a silver ring last week when i rechecked an area i had recently hunted.

Excellent merc ! Coming at a different angle does work, because the coin might be at a slight angle under the ground. HH

Nice.... Don't see too many 1917 merc's in that good of shape... One of the club members here in Oklahoma always advised me to recheck sites at different angles and I have found coins that I had previously missed...

Thanks again for all the compliments. Like I stated, and like so many people agree on this post, and many others, IT ALWAYS PAYS to go over your "spent" sites again and again at different angles. The first two times that I went over that spot on previous days, there was no signal. then, I went over it another way...and BAM! have gotten many extra wheties in that yard the same way, plus clad.
