Another day at the new farm!

I didn't do so well today.....no hammered

It was the worst conditions I have ever detected in, I could barely lift my feet or my spade I was only digging the good signals because the Wheat is well showing.

Got a good few buttons, a nice lead token and my smallest buckle yet!
Another 17th c token(completely blank) and one and a half Rose Farthings...I think

Also got a strange pewter token/coin!

Shaun al I can say is, that's what I like to see on a field looks Roman to me although I have seen Saxon pottery similar to this, either way it's a good sign

Last one looks like a tin & copper plugged farthing - very rare - look at the William & Mary type in your book

1.5 rose farthings & lots of encouraging signs

Stick at it, it will pay off better next time

I'll dig my pottery tombes out and have a look, could you send me another pic with something in for scale. On a different topic I was cleaning out some boxes and such in the loft and re-found a coin that has been in my family for over 150 years. I'll give you 1 guess as to what it is .
