Texan, I am happy for you and the Mrs. I have a suspicion you might be MDing around a dried up lake? I hear there is a bad drought going on over there in Texas? Is there any truth to this?

Thanks

NEWSFLASH:

As lake and reservoir levels recede due to the worst Texas drought in 50 years, especially severe in South Central Texas, opportunistic treasure hunters can cash in.

Popular swimming and other aquatic recreation spots are always good locations for finding gold rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and other valuable jewelry, but with many lake bottoms literally exposed to the swoops of your search coil, hard-to-reach places are now much more easily accessible to the standard, dry-land metal detector.

Like the song says: You're in the money...... :icon_thumleft:

Thanks CZ, and all, This lake is only about 5' down, But some lake are as much as 30' down around Austin, and Im sure there are others.

This ring was on dry ground. close to the waters edge, The others I'v been finding have been in water, but close to the shore.
