Another old button -how do I date this one?

It is number 37 in the US Navy section of Albert button book. Albert states that the navy button was switched to a standard of 15 stars in 1802, so yours pre-dates that, having 13 stars. Excellent find.

Very cool finds. In what state or province did you find them? I've found a few similar versions in brass and cuff button format.
