Another silver coin from the 'hunted out' park!

Hello everyone!

It was such a nice day today ~ not too hot and not too cold ~ just right for detecting except the ground is hard and dry from all the previous days of hot weather. But I still managed to dig three wheat cents dating from 1939 to 1946, and a 1951-D Silver quarter from a park that hasn't given up much treasures lately!

I took pic's of the quarter before and after I cleaned it up. This is my silver coin #76 for the year!

THANKS for looking!
Neil

thats a sweet silver !!
Are you the one who nicked it? :dontknow:

Thanks man!

Believe it or not ~ it wasn't me (this time) that scratched the coin! The scratch was there before I dug it ~ dirty scratch on a dirty coin = old scratch . . . . . but when you get a shiny scratch on a dirty coin you know you're the one who scratched it!
