I have had this on a few different threads on TNet but few replies. The boat in the bottle I have probably dates back to the 1940's, but I don't have any good knowledge about the boat in the bottle or the bottle itself. I have searched the internet and basically came up with new boats in bottles, but nothing even remotely similar to mine. The link to the thread is listed below, if anyone has any ideas or information, I'm all ears. Oh and thanks for looking.

kc10bull......Thank you for posting that boat in a bottle. It bought back a memory for me. My Father who was incidentally in the Navy during the 2nd World War, came home on leave once with a boat in a bottle. He swore that he had done it, but wouldn't say how. I have often wondered if he was "pulling our leg" or if he had really done it.........Still wondering how it's done :dontknow:........thanks for the memory.

regards U.
