Tiger maple oval frame - 1920's?

White spats are also 1920's (ish).

It could be a hand colored photo which could be 1920's as well.

I have a baby picture of my father-in-law from 1919 which is done in a similar style to yours.

The domed glass is also early 20th C.

Maybe old, maybe not. I am very suspicious of anything in the curved glass because it was a trend in the 70's to recreate the "old" look pictures complete with curved glass. But you really need to look at the back more than the front and maybe try to gently remove it from the frame. Is the frame really wood? Does it have the darker color that comes from real age. If it was so expensively framed there would likely be some framer info on the back. Lastly can you see brush strokes and be certain it is painted and not repro'd?
