Here's mine

Here's mine. A customized long-handle scoop, so you can use with a single arm, and never have to bend over. No more stoop labor  The fellow I bought this from (who helped with the individual spec's, for my eventual project) sells on ebay. His listings are under "borderlineengineering", and he does a good product.

I think the Best scoop out right now is the 720, but you have to be ready for the weight of it and the amount of wetsand she can move. Next would be Starv's, ron's T-Rex and the RTG like casper mentioned all very strong.
The scoop I use is the Best for me, but may never make it to the public, been 3 years coming. Diablo, 13+ long, 7 wide. fiber glass handle..3 lbs. 10 oz...Alum 2025, then the titanium model..at 3 lbs. 14oz.. ...

Tom. with your arm in the cuff, how do you reach in and remove the target from the basket? Maybe that thing is shorter than it looks and you can reach it with your detector hand?

Mark,
Yes, I'm able to reach in the basket. I have made some videos of the scoop in usage, and will eventually get them posted to You-tube. When I do, I will post the links to this beach forum.

As you can see lots of choice for scoops. Now that you have gone through one scoop, study each of the recommended scoops then decide which one will work best for your hunting needs and has the strongest points for those needs. Personally after using several diffident scoops I prefer a top mounted scoop handle and a 20 degree angle, but that is for my type of hunting.

I also love the 720. When I first saw it I laughed. But now I'm used to the weight. Get little back spasms now and then but, oh well!!!
