I agree.

Hi Marcel

I would not buy anything that seller had for SALE!

REASONS:
#1 Bad Feeback Rateing Less than 99%
#2 Overpriced Shipping Charges
#3 NO Extra's included....Ie Coils excetra to increase weight on shipping
#4 Old Unit which could be BAD and most likely does not work correctly
#5 Most Likely does not come w/ a manual
#6 IS NOT A NAME BRAND......[ Whites, Tesoro, Bounty Hunter, Minelab, Garrett]

NOTE! * ALL SALES FINAL * The winning bidder also agrees that this is an 'as is' auction and therefore by placing a bid waives any and all rights to warranties, charge backs or refunds.

Which means if you bid and win the unit and it does not work your stuck w/ a piece of JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like an older Bounty Hunter.

I'd pay $35.00 at a Yard sale Tops.

But Never $35 for shipping on any Detector on Ebay
Unless I got an Unbelievable Deal in the first place.
and Shipping was Priority / Insured

thanks to all for the replies
i agree,i agree.Wanted to buy cheap detector for the son(ten years of age)
i am thinking better old than - china

It's not China Made, my guess It's Texas Made.
But probably '80's

It is an eighties Bounty Hunter... and it's loaded for it's time. Was a great mid-range machine when new - but the "as is" should worry you. If working perfectly it'll be a bargain at 15.00 - 20.00. However as stated... 35.00 shipping?

For $1.50 you can get a photocopy of the instructions from here: http://www.treasureenterprises.com/...& Accessories/Metal_Detector_Instructions.htm

Bounty Hunter has changed hands at least twice since that model was made.

It looks like it has the "ground ballance" button feature on the handle too... There are zillions of satisfyed folks still using those old machines and finding "stuff" all over the place.

checking though the guys feedback hes got 4 bad feedback mainly for things not working partly broken think twice I would advise as for the shipping charge sounds ott to me 5 hours 24 mins left no bids wonder why

Yes Bounty Hunter was one of the Top Choices in the 80's

To bulky for a ten-year old, IMO

That's the pinpoint button @ the end of the handle

Yea that thing will give a guy "tennis elbow" in a minute or two... a ten year old? No way...

Pinpoint feature... very cool... good call

less than 99% is not bad feedback you cant please everyone
mine is 97.8 and i didnt get a deserved negative and it wasnt for a sale.
also i have purchased 12 different detectors off ebay and they all worked.
manuals can be downloaded.
However if this is for your first detector and you dont want to spend much
get a bounty and make sure it has pin point ok.
id say it would be a good deal except for the shipping shipping is way over priced.

i paid 35.00 for this shipping was 15.00

Well, I would save my money and get a new updated Metal Detector even if its used.
If its a matter of money and you can't afford a new one right now (money is tight now for everyone)
there are some very good detectors out there such as the Ace and the F2 that just came out that are both in the $200 range.
