anybody ever find any colorized coins?

has anybody found a colored coins while crhing? and by that i mean like colorized quarters or half dollars. denom does not matter.

I haven't found any yet. The only colorized coins I have are Canadian quarters that I got in change while on vacation.

I have found like 6 gold plated halfdollars, some green or red due oxidation or other times because some one has painted the coin

As far as I know they are worthless...so I just keep for for the heck of it.

i found a bunch of colorized state quarters, various kinds, i will try to get a scan of them tomorrow if i have time. Got them for .25 each from a grocery store. (the cashier handed me back a colored state quarter, and i bought out all that he had)

ummm so what bank was it. very cool roll find.

I found one similar to Conleys in a roll once but it looks like someone or something was used to scrape most of the colorization from the quarter. Ther was small amounts left, enough to know it was once a colored coin. I kept it for the heck of it.

That's where I found my 1950 washington ender a few weeks ago...and I pulled about $400 worth of silver out of rolls they rolled from their machine... I LOVE that bank.. lol
