Anybody save these? Are they worth anything to keep for later?

I found one of those V halves the other day as well. Prior to that I'd only found some Statue of Liberty clads, probably not much value but good to put in the blank slots of your Dansco or something?

So, I found these in 1 of my boxes today, never seen them before. They look special edition of some sort. None are silver. So I was just wondering if they were worth hanging on to or not. Thanks for looking, and Good luck to everyone hunting today! Maverick.

Those are cool! I'd take them! ;)

Thanks everyone, I thought they were cool myself, so I guess I'll be keeping them. There was silver in the boxes too, but I'll post my results at the end of this week. HH, Maverick.

Dang it! I thought I'd get them since I asked so nicely!
:) Great going, Mav!

I'm curious, MrSchulz, in all your years of wisdom and experience, when is it appropriate to refer to a person as "Noobie"?

Have to say, Touche"

1995-S Civil War Battlefield Preservation Half Dollar (119,520) - $44
1993-P World War II Half Dollar (197,072) - $36

The mintage is in parenthesis and the value is quoted for mint state. Being impaired, they will be less, but in most cases are worth more than a 90% (melt). Nice finds. Interesting the the dates are clustered. Must be a collection dump. Hurry and order more boxes. Hopefully, the rest are waiting for you to find them.

That was my 4 boxes from this branch this week, still 6 more boxes coming this week from the other ones, so, we'll see. You may not be able to see in the pictures, but there are 5 of the 1995's stacked up in the picture. Thanks for the info there DD, most appreciated! HH, Maverick.

I didn't pay attention to the stack. Definitely a nice score. I would put them in 2x2's and write the necessary mintage information down on the side. List each one in the Civil War section of eBay (Collectibles --> Militaria --> Civil War). Listing in the coins section of eBay, numismatists won't pay for the impaired commemorative. But listing in the Civil War section, might earn you more than the quoted value. Guys are crazy in that section of eBay.

I got these boxes today and found out also that somebody else had ordered some, the teller said, did you order 4 this week, because we ordered some for another guy too. I told her yes, four of them are mine. So I don't know who got the better boxes, kinda frustrating now that I'm really thinking about, lol. Maverick.

Go back and see if the other guy picked up his order. After 24 hours, all bets are off regarding box sniping.

CRH is about timing. If you show up with the cash they're yours!
