All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
Many hideouts were the central landmark for the cache. The cache was not in the hideout. I'd check the cardinal direction points from every entrance to the hideout. I'd also check the most likely spot for stabling the horses. Barn, corral, etc. Check along the path from the place to the water source then check in the water source. Good Luck, Exanimo, SS

Be careful not to get on the Trace itself.
You'll be feeling pretty low if the NPS rangers catch you digging on their personal land.

Why would Little Harpe and May cutoff Sam Mason's head for the $300 reward if they had anything hidden? Then again, what happened to the $300 when they were caught a few days later... Did Capt. Mason hide enough money to make a search worthwhile? Probably, but what size would it have been given the cicumstances of many of their victims. Does anyone think he would have put it in one place, given his history of having to make flight under hurried circumstance? Gotta think he had several small caches that would be realtively easy to recover, along with most of the river and trail pirates.
