Anyone know about star notes?

I don't really collect them much, but if i see some I hang on to them. I got 2 $1 bills back today in change that were star notes. series 2003a.

numbers on the bills are C01736586* and F13463580*

anyone know if these are any good? If they are worth anything over face I might go try to trade in with a few people I know for a couple rosies or something. (if there is a better forum for this question let me know)

Yesterday i went to the cash machine to pull $60 out, while witting & waiting for the fella i was buying a monitor from to show i look the bills over, one is a $20 2004A with a star serial. Now i am out the $20 play money. lol

It was folded, but still had to put it away, havent seen a star bill since the 80's

A few years ago all the star notes from the 2003-A series were considered "Current" (no premium value) except the bill from Dallas.
