As I wander, I tend to pick up everything.
Surely it's good exercise to squat 500-1000 times in an afternoon... In doing so I've accumulated a few buckets and jars full of chips and small pottery pieces. With way too many in way too many places, I decided to try and utilize them some way. This is what I came up with...
Took some effort to sort the colors of chips. And though a few fit- some of the pottery had to be dremiled to shape - particularly the claw in the one pic- those are completely shaped with dremil. Anyway, made frames of scrap and mat is panel sprayed with sand paint. Rest was just laid out and glued down with lexel silicone.
Hope it displays my appreciation for the artifacts and might inspire an idea for a use of someone else's.
Enjoy.

Nice.... really cool idea I have a few flower pots laying around full of chips and flakes .... would much rather see them like this than just sitting around
