Are both ends polished smooth? It looks like a large Bone Bead to me that has split in two, especially with the cut marks on one end. A lot of the Bone Beads I find have those same cut marks on them.

Yes both ends are fairly smooth but the slices down the middle are very smooth as well. Seems to me they could have been scored over and over, then snapped in two and ground smooth?? I just find them and you guys help figure them out!

yes,
i agree with SRV, a big bone bead that has split w/the grain
it happens frequently
those pcs are cool and display nicely in a tray
