I found this Stone in a known Camp in northern Missouri near Grand River. As You can see by pics it is fairly symmetrical in taper and has four flat sides. I am of the opinion that it could not have gotten in this shape naturally. It was found in a camp where several Nebo Hill and St. Charles dovetail points have been found as well as on 3/4 grooved axe and several game balls. Is it a possible hammerstone or hand axe? What are your thoughts? 0410172050.jpg 0410172050a.jpg 0410172050b - Copy.jpg 0410172050c.jpg 0410172050d.jpg 0410172050e.jpg
