Just wondering if any of you are using the ATX. After months of research I am saving up to buy one. I plan on prospecting for gold with it in 2016 once all this damn ice and snow melt. I also like the ability to use it in water. I would like to hear how you guys/gals like it and possibly some pro's and con's. I can't wait to get mine!

It's a PI. Lots of people are afraid of PI's because they lack discrimination like vlf detectors, and get incredible depth in practically all highly mineralized soils and salt water. But, most water hunters dig it all anyway.... Oh well, the ATX is heavy, please use the supplied harness. Be prepared to do a lot of digging, as it will pick up signals missed by most other detectors. It has an iron check, giving a low grunt to iron targets in the top 4-5 inches. Double bleeps on bobby pins and nails. Low high signals for silver and copper. High low signal for gold. Iron can hit on either depending on it's size, shape and composition. Please see my video library, as I have several hunts using the ATX. I have found enough gold with mine to pay for it.
