Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II
Hello, I am from Venezuela, South America. I am a faithful user of the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark ii. I Wear two years in, I use it occasionally when I go to the beach, i do maintenance and cleaning every time I use it, especially in the gaskets of the searchcoil and the headphones connections (i placed Vaseline to prevent leaks) it worked well. i had two months without using it, i remove the batteries at the time and now that I turn it on, the audio from the headphones is very low, so on surf beaches will cost me hear the whispers of the deep targets.

Does Someone have passed the same situation? Somebody help me! Help!

Is welcome every comment, solution or advice.

Thanks.

Sounds like you have saltwater damage to the headphones. Saltwater has leached into the cords copper wiring, or up inside where the Piezo's are, seen it several times with the Minelab excaliburs headphones. I would suggest another set, On the damaged set not much you can do other then start replacing stuff and that's hard to do and still maintain the integrity of the circuit of the headphones.
