DSC02611.JPG DSC02667.JPG DSC02668.JPG DSC02666.JPG I got back to an older site I have been detecting for 10 years give or take, the site was settled in 1785 time period, I found my first cannon ball there. The land owners didn't seem to care either way if I was finding cool relics or coins, they are quite private people, he has an air plane hanger behind his home. This coin came out of the ground like you see it, the dirt was sandy, any relics that are in sandy soil always seem to shine. The button is kinda cool, the buckle came from another location, I am not sure if I posted it before, but here it is again. HH

nothing that I know of, it came from an early site. The buckle is quite interesting and early.

Hi; I'll take a stab at the buckle ok. I believe it is older. I think it is 1600's to 1720. This is based on the overall design & Patina. I believe it is made of Brass. This is based on the color of the metal located at the knick on the right hand side. It is a SWEET buckle for sure. What say ye Folks ?? PEACE:RONB
